Lorieann M. Cox

Lorieann M. Cox graduated cum laude from the University of South Florida. She attended Stetson University College of Law, where she was a member of the Stetson Law Review. While earning her Juris Doctor degree, Ms. Cox served as a Federal Judicial Intern for Chief Judge Elizabeth A. Kovachevich of the U.S. Middle District of Florida. She also served as Stetson’s President of the American Bar Association and an Honor Court Attorney. Ms. Cox served as a member of the Student Bar Association and was appointed as a teaching fellow.

Ms. Cox earned her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University, College of Law in 2001. Ms. Cox is admitted to practice law before all State courts within Florida as well as the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida.

Ms. Cox gained her civil trial experience as a defense attorney, representing defendants and large insurance carriers in first party and third party cases. She has negotiated numerous cases to settlement and has tried many cases to verdict. She has also argued appellate cases before the Second District Court of Appeals. Ms. Cox’s first-hand knowledge of insurance claims practices and litigation tactics are key elements in getting the best results for her clients.

Geoffrey R. Cox

Geoffrey R. Cox received his B.A. from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA in 1992. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law in Jamaica, New York in 1996. At St. John’s, Mr. Cox was a staff member of the St. John’s Journal of Legal Commentary and a member of the Moot Court team.

Mr. Cox has been admitted to practice in both Florida and New York, as well as the federal courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. His practice is focused primarily in the areas of criminal and civil litigation, and he has tried more than 50 cases to verdict.
